Titanium dioxide is a white pigment whose main component is titanium dioxide (TiO2). It has the characteristics of high whiteness, strong hiding power, good optical properties and chemical stability. It has two common crystal forms: anatase and rutile. The rutile form is more stable and has better performance. Titanium dioxide is mainly used in coatings, plastics, papermaking, rubber and other industries. It can improve the whiteness, glossiness, hiding power and other properties of the product. It is an important inorganic chemical pigment.
